New Artists and Dates Added to The 2010 Lilith Tour

April 1, 2010 by DirtyLinen2

Teen sensation Selena Gomez and Mexican singer/songwriter Jenni Rivera are the latest artists added to The 2010 Lilith Tour line-up. Additionally, Lilith organizers have revealed details (artists, dates, venues) for six more cities of the Live Nation produced summer festival, including the Sunday, June 27 tour launch at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium. Tickets for the newly revealed dateswhich also include Edmonton, Vancouver, San Diego, Los Angeles and Denvergo on-sale Saturday, April 3 via LilithFair.com and LiveNation.com.

As details about Lilith ’10 continue to be unveiled, the first musical pairing of the summer is set for tonight (March 25) when Lilith founder Sarah McLachlan teams with Emmylou Harris (another Lilith ’10 artist) for a special performance of McLachlan’s hit song “Angel” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (ABC 12:05/11:05 CT).

These announcements come on the heels of major news from Sarah McLachlan last week. The multi-platinum and Grammy-Award winning singer/songwriter is scheduled to release The Laws Of Illusion, her first studio album of new material in seven years, on June 15 (Nettwerk Records), just weeks before the Lilith tour launch. A special pre-order campaign for the six dates revealed today will take place on Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30 at SarahMclachlan.com. Fans who pre-order the new album will be offered the added benefit of exclusive access to purchase Lilith tickets before they are made available anywhere else. They’ll also receive an instant download of Sarah’s new song, “One Dream.”

The following is the list of tour dates that have been announced thus far (BOLD denotes new additions). Tickets go on-sale beginning this Saturday, March 27. For details on tickets, artists and more, please visit LilithFair.com.
