The 13th annual Rhythm & Roots Festival announces its spectacular all-star lineup for 2010. Held at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, Rhode Island every Labor Day weekend, the festival has become a destination event drawing roots music and dance fans from all over the country. Tickets are now on sale for the 2009 Roots and Music Festival at The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. The Festival will celebrate the heritage and traditional music of our mountains as well as contemporary acts in the Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana genres. Tickets are $18 on Friday, $27 on Saturday and $40 for a 2-Day pass. Advance 2-Day tickets are $36 until May 15th. The Festival also provides an informal Picking Pavilion throughout the weekend.
The Festival line-up includes top local, regional and national acts. On Friday, June 5th at 6 PM catch Buck and Nelson, Irons In The Fire, 2007 and 2008 IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Dale Ann Bradley and legendary Progressive Bluegrass pioneers The Seldom Scene.
